Master Yu founded the Feng Shui Research Center in Toronto, Canada, in 1998, to accomplish his mission of providing quality teaching of Chinese Metaphysics and to create a network of highly professional and knowledgeable practitioners.

Master Yu graduated in Physics and Mathematics from Hong Kong University in 1966.  In his early career as a mathematics teacher, he decided to refute the practices of Feng Shui by unveiling its superstitious foundation.  He frequented libraries and consulted professionals in the field, and in his research he found that Feng Shui was not based on the 'folk tales' as he had surmised, but rather a logical structure based on an intricate system of patterns and imagery.

Intrigued by the rich legacy of Chinese Feng Shui he systematically compared his research with actual case studies.  While successfully enriching the livelihood of many clients, he developed an international education program, and has taught, and captivated students around the world.
