| back to feng shui | Case Study Some 6 weeks ago, a lady requested a consultation relating to her 8 month old son. He was a very bad sleeper and Mum was at the end of her tether, willing to try anything. Nothing medically was wrong with this very healthy looking child. She reported that he would wake up almost hourly, very restless and at times aggravated, day and night. A Flying Star Chart of the house revealed that his bedroom fell under the #5 mountain star, and a Pillars of Destiny Chart revealed that he was a Strong Earth element. His bedroom was painted bright yellow and red clothing was also part of his wardrobe. My recommendations were to repaint the room a soft blue, introduce some fish mobiles, use white curtains on the windows. I felt the yellow walls were adding to his overly strong earth element and at the same time, activating the # 5 star. I also requested that his cot be moved to the west side of the room -an auspicious direction for him. His Pillars chart had no water element. I believed he needed water not only for personal balance but also to weaken the #5 star, along with the white window treatments. I further requested of Mum to try and avoid red clothing on him where possible. Last week Mum phoned me to advise that one week after the changes were put in place, his sleeping pattern changed dramatically and so has his personality. Friends and family apparently cannot believe the change in him. Mum and Dad are finally getting some well deserved sleep. "You had Feng what done to him?" they ask. She had waited a length of time to contact me because she wanted to make sure that it was not just coincidence. And, Dad, a respected Perth Solicitor has decided maybe Feng Shui is not "bull_ _ _ _" after all. He has now requested I attend to his offices and do his personal chart. I believe Jodi, this is a good example for skeptics who say it is mind over matter. No eight month old child is able to perceive this notion! A simple case of balancing all the elements I believe! | |||
